First of all I’m thankful to Mr. Keith Newton, CILT Intl General Secretary, for joining us and addressing the newly elected body of CILT Pakistan, on 30th March 2021, we are looking forward for your guidance and support.

CILT Pakistan has suffered gravely during the wake of last one year and have lost a number of dedicated workers and colleagues like Mr. Sabir Hassan, Major (Retd) Zaheer Jafri and recent demise of Mr. Kamal A. Mahmoodi, has hit us hard, the sad demise of our dedicated & oldest veteran office staff Mr. Aslam Azeem causing CILT a irreparable loss. These all were legendry personalities of CILT Pakistan.

The newly elected body is facing multiple challenges but we are determined to come out of troubled epoch with dedication and team work, along with perseverance, guidance and support of CILT International for “STRONGER TOGETHER”.

CILT Pakistan’s Objectives for next Two Years (2021 – 22)

To make a difference and to set new tangible goals, we’ll have to improve & to reduce the communication gap. We’ll have very close liaison with all branches of CILT world over, and definitely improve our visibility by adopting Social media, and other means of communication, as much as possible.

As far as negative impacts of COVID – 19’s turmoil, we the Pakistanis have numerous success stories in the field of L&T and especially in the field of “Green Technologies” by adopting best practices, which will be shared internationally shortly. Green Tech subject has already been included in Log courses.

We are working vigorously to revamp our website and to re-establish communication gap between CILT Intl and all other branches world over & Pakistan.

Promotion of fool proof practices adopted by Government of Pakistan to fight successfully against COVID -19, and now as per International agencies (WHO, Gulf News, Global Finance World Economic Union Report Jan 2021) reports, Pakistan is 2nd fastest growing country of the world after China.

The CPEC has become one of the most important and influential project of the present history in the world. It already has positive impact on the world economy; many other countries have become partner of CPEC and One Belt One Road (OBOR) projects. CILT plans to play its role by educating a new breed of “Young Professionals” for upcoming challenges, and to make very strong Data Bank of qualified human resources of Pakistan.

CILT Pakistan has already indulged into a JV project in the field of Air Management Courses at CILT House, which will certainly help in increasing the qualified Air Management workforce along with increase in membership.

We will definitely put in all our efforts to enhance the training activities, enhance technical resources, holding of diversified Online Seminars, in the field of L&T and IT. Revised Business plan of CILT Pakistan will also be shared shortly.

We’ll try to generate some extra benefits / value additions for the members to enhance membership and getting regular annual subscriptions, which has reduced considerably, especially during COVID -19 Pandemic.

So far, members of CILT Pakistan could attend a few WEBINARs, but now, assure that we will not only attend these valuable WEBINARs regularly, rather we will be sharing our success stories and experiences with the complete world for mutual benefits, through CILT International Bulletins.
